Sunday Service
When:
Sunday (11:00am - 12:40pm)
Where: Main Church
The main service at 11am. It can take a while for all of us to arrive but
there are usually 100 – 150 of us there of all ages. Our worship is led by
ministers, preachers and worship leaders. On the first Sunday of the month
we celebrate Holy Communion and offer bread and wine to whoever wishes to
receive it (including our children). About three morning services a month
are led by our minister. There is a crèche and Junior Church available to
our children and young people. Worship usually lasts about an hour and a half.
We don’t rush and want to encourage people to understand that worship is the
work of the whole people of God. There is an opportunity to ask for prayer
for particular concerns you might have. Also, on the third sunday of every
month we have Holy Communion in the morning at 9am.
Our evening service, at 6:30pm is attended by about a dozen or so people.
It is more relaxed than the morning service. Visitors remark on the warmth
of welcome they receive.
Prayer Meeting and Bible Study
When: Wednesday (7:30pm - 8:30pm)
Where: Church
The Prayer meeting and Bible Study is held every Wednesday evening
a small group of us meet for prayer and bible study. This is an important meeting
where we can learn of the personal needs of the congregation and commend them to
God in prayer. We begin our meeting with teaching and conversation about a passages
of scripture and try to discover how it can be a light for our path of discipleship.
Then we bring before God those people and places we have been asked to pray for.
On the third Sunday of every moneth we have Holy Communion.
We are always encouraging greater numbers of you to come to the Prayer meeting and Bible Study,
knowing that ultimately it is in these areas that we can find the true measure of the
spiritual realities in the life and work of the congregation.
